In its first phase, the aid organization is designed to address the most serious emergencies within a residential area of up to 1,000 people. As the population increases and its structure changes, the organization's tasks and working methods will adapt accordingly. The first step is to create an aid organization that is easy to implement for the initial and hopefully manageable number of emergencies and one that can respond quickly, operating with as little organizational effort as possible.
The focus on emergencies will remain a permanent principle. This is not only to limit donor funds to the situations where they will be most needed and effective but also so that residents are not prevented from finding solutions to their own emergency situations.
Of course, there are more worthwhile and important missions than just emergency situations and aid organizations can adopt these. However, to do so, other organizations must be created.
Helper and Aid Platform
Regardless of the organization, a free-standing online platform should exist where those seeking aid and voluntary donors can find each other, for example for personal support or for donations-in-kind.
Próspera Help will not provide funds for this purpose. We will only provide the homepage for this purpose and, to help prevent misuse, we will carry out identity checks on aid-seekers.
Our vision is that anyone who genuinely asks for help will be heard.
Decentralized platform
For all intents and purposes, one could also consider a system in which donors and emergencies find one another independently through voting and payment using Smart Contracts (if necessary, limited to "other emergency cases" or more general for each type of aid). The disadvantage is that donors would need to be more continuously vigilant than if they were simply donating. This could possibly be an idea for a parallel donor opportunity in the form of a "Helper and Aid Platform".
The main goal of Próspera Help is to be able to help quickly and reliably in the worst emergency situations and we believe that this is best implemented through a central point with central responsibility, as well as through monitoring and co-management by donors.
